How long each garage door job takes on site

Before the price, most people want to know how much of their day this will take. Here is the usual time for each job, from the moment the technician starts until the door runs and has been tested.

Time on site, job by job

These are typical times, measured on site. A bolt rusted solid by salt air, a part that has to be ordered or a second problem found along the way can stretch a visit, and if that happens you hear it before the work goes on.

Good to know

  • Emergency calls show an arrival window instead of a time on site, because that hinges on where the technicians are when you call. You hear it on the phone.
  • New and impact-rated doors take one day at the house, once the door has arrived and the permit has been issued. Ordering and permitting come first, and we text you as each one moves.
  • Installations are scheduled Monday through Saturday, within the work hours of the City of Naples, Collier County and Marco Island. At night or on a Sunday, we make an unsafe door safe.
  • From November to April, with seasonal residents back, the calendar fills sooner. If you're planning a new door, book the measure visit early.
  • Prices aren't on this page on purpose. The price comes in writing before any work, once someone has seen the door or a photo of it.
